Sign Policy Helps Fan Forget Loss in Playoffs

While our beloved Dodgers are not in the World Series, at least we can have the satisfaction that Dodger Stadium management has more common sense and sensitivity than the crew in Atlanta. Signs or banners are not allowed inside [Dodger Stadium], whereas in Atlanta we had to be subjected to a large corporate sign for the restaurant chain “Hooters” every time a ball was hit to right field. This banner, with letters almost as tall as the fence, was offensive. In an era in which people are generally concerned with being politically correct, Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium flunked the test.
