Chamber Plans Symposium on Medical Issues
MISSION VIEJO — Health industry officials will discuss a variety of medical issues at a health care symposium Nov. 1.
Topics will include health care affordability, managed care and the government’s role in the medical field.
Among the speakers will be Juan Carlos Cobo, president of the Orange County Medical Assn.; Mark Laret, executive director of the UCI Medical Center; Albert Barnett, chairman of the Friendly Hills HealthCare Network; and Keith Paul Bishop, commissioner of the state Department of Corporations.
Sponsored by the South Orange County Chambers of Commerce, the event will be at the Mission Viejo Country Club, 26200 Country Club Drive, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The cost is $35 and must be paid in advance.
