Richey Electronics Inc.: The Garden Grove distributor of electronic components reported third-quarter net income of $1.8 million, or 18 cents a share, 64% higher than the $1.1 million, or 12 cents a share, for the 1995 third quarter. Sales gained 86%, to $53.7 million from $28.8 million. Year-to-date net income increased 70%, to $4.6 million, or 50 cents a share, from $2.7 million, or 35 cents a share, for the corresponding period of 1995. Sales more than doubled to $170.3 million from $83.7 million.
