Foundation Honors Women of Excellence
Costa Mesa’s Learning for Life foundation will honor nine Orange County Women of Excellence Nov. 7 at the Sutton Place Hotel in Newport Beach.
The foundation is an educational arm of the Boy Scouts of America, Orange County Council, that teaches values and ethics to schoolchildren. Every year, the organization recognizes women accomplished in law, business, education, the arts, health and social services.
This year’s honorees are Harbor Municipal Judge Frances Munoz; Molly Lynch, Ballet Pacifica’s artistic director; Carol Wilken, a Newport Beach philanthropist; Jean Forbath, founder of Share Our Selves, a Costa Mesa charity; Donna Crean, founder of a charitable foundation; Linda White-Peters, an assistant vice chancellor at UC Irvine; Bonnie Soodik, a McDonnell Douglas executive; Donna Hulen, a Los Alamitos Unified School District educator; and Julie Ryan of the Irvine Optometric Group.
Reservations for the $100-a-plate luncheon are available through Nov. 1.
