Community College Candidates to Speak

Candidates for three open seats on the Coast Community College District Board of Trustees will meet for an election forum at 1 p.m. Oct. 30 in the Student Center Lounge at Orange Coast College, 2701 Fairview Road.
Eight of the nine candidates running for the community college board are expected to attend, organizers said this week. Each hopeful will open the forum with a five-minute speech. Questions from the audience will follow.
The trustees govern Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, Coastline Community College in Fountain Valley and Golden West College in Huntington Beach.
