Pacifica’s defense is probably tired of seeing running teams after struggling with Los Amigos’ freight trains Najja Kee and Shaun Tagatauli last week. This week, the Mariners will see a hard-to-tackle, hard-to-find back in Kosi and a power back with speed in Vickers. Kee and Tagatauli hit the Mariners for more than 300 yards last week; Vickers and Kosi have the ability do the same. Pacifica has a sophisticated passing offense led by Stern, but it must run better than it did last week when LeVeaux had one yard in seven carries. A Mariner victory puts them back into the league title race.
