Kenny Pritchett
SCHOOL: Crescenta Valley
SPORT: Football
YEAR: Junior
SEASON AT A GLANCE: Pritchett has rushed for 621 yards and six touchdowns in 99 carries. He completed 18 of 26 passes for 153 yards as quarterback in Crescenta Valley’s empty-back offense in the first two games of the season, but was moved to tailback where Coach Alan Eberhart said he is more comfortable.
WEEK AT A GLANCE: The 5-foot-10, 165-pound Pritchett gained a school-record 350 yards and scored four touchdowns in 36 carries Friday in the Falcons’ 35-13 victory over South Pasadena. After scoring on runs of 10, two and four yards in the first half, he ran 93 yards for another touchdown in the third quarter. “I knew he had a lot of yards after that,” Eberhart said. “But I would have guessed 250, not 350.”
