Kennedy 36, Birmingham 8--Jaret Harris rushed for 101 yards in 15 carries and scored on runs of one, three, two and 17 yards to lead the Golden Cougars (2-2) past Birmingham (2-2) at Kennedy.
Kennedy quarterback Calvin Zinck completed 17 of 37 for 245 yards, including a 13-yard touchdown pass to Aaron Lewis.
Birmingham’s Emmanuel Evans rushed for 110 yards in 22 carries, scoring on an 11-yard run and a two-point conversion run to pull the Braves within 29-8 with 9:16 remaining.
