Harvest Festival to Offer Crafts, Music

More than 200 exhibitors will crowd the Ventura County Fairgrounds this weekend to sell everything from pottery and glassware to wood sculptures and doll houses at the seventh annual Ventura Harvest Festival.
Continuous entertainment includes a juggler, a Dixieland band, a barbershop quartet and “bicycle pianist” John Timothy.
There will also be demonstrations on how to make wood art.
The sprawling arts and crafts sale begins today and runs through Sunday. Admission is $6.50 for adults, $5.50 for seniors and $3.50 for children 6 to 12.
Anyone bringing a canned or boxed food item is eligible for $1 off the price of a ticket. The food will benefit the Canning Hunger group.
