Riverside County Blast Injures 3
Three people were injured, one critically, in an explosion Wednesday at the San Jacinto Chamber of Commerce, the Riverside County Fire Department said.
The blast caused major damage to the Chamber of Commerce, located in a strip mall, and a nearby radio station and blew out the windows of several cars parked across the street.
The cause was under investigation.
Radio station KWRP suffered the most damage, said Fire Department spokeswoman Joanne Evans.
“It took the wall and flattened it in the street. It had that much power behind it,” Evans said. “It’s just a miracle not more people were injured.”
