The Mighty Ducks ended their preseason 2-4-2 as Corey Hirsch made 28 saves and Pavel Bure scored his fifth exhibition goal Monday night in the Canucks’ 3-0 victory at Vancouver.
Hirsch was 4-0-0 in exhibitions, giving up only seven goals in five appearances. Mike Sillinger and Adrian Aucoin also scored for the Canucks (5-4-0).

Whether Paul Kariya will be ready to play in the Ducks’ season-opener seems somewhat more in doubt with the first game only four days away.
Kariya hasn’t ruled out playing against the Maple Leafs on Saturday in Toronto after consulting with Vancouver physiotherapist Alex McKechnie on Monday, but he has yet to practice with the team after a two-month layoff to rehabilitate an abdominal muscle injury.
“I don’t have a timetable,” said Kariya, who considers his condition “day to day.”
