Litton Lands Navy Deal Worth $72.4 Million

Litton Industries Inc. in Woodland Hills said its shipbuilding division was awarded $72.4 million by the U.S. Navy to provide technical and engineering services for the Ticonderoga-class Aegis guided missile cruisers and Spruance- and Kidd-class destroyers.
The award is for the second year of a five-year contract for Litton’s Ingalls Shipbuilding Division, which also built the Spruance- and Kidd-class destroyers and most of the Ticonderoga-class cruisers.
Ingalls is based in Pascagoula, Miss.
