Chrysler, UAW Reach Accord on New Contract: The tentative three-year agreement between Highland Park, Mich.-based Chrysler Corp. and the United Auto Workers union covers 66,000 U.S. workers. Top negotiators from both sides bargained through much of the weekend and announced the agreement Sunday evening. Details of the agreement weren’t immediately available. The accord is expected to mirror the contract that the union hammered out with Ford Motor Co. General Motors Corp. is the only Big Three auto maker still without a deal. Ford’s U.S. workers were expected to finish voting on the UAW contract Sunday. The results are expected to be released today. Dearborn, Mich.-based Ford agreed to guarantee jobs for 95% of its workers and offered a $2,000 bonus this year and 3% pay increases in the second and third years.
