City Recognizes Three Eagle Scouts
Three new Eagle Scouts--William Joseph Fowler, Joshua Schoenwald and David Robert Muse--have been honored by the City Council.
The council passed separate resolutions honoring the recipients of Boy Scouts of America’s highest honor and praising the young men for their service to the community. Each resolution summarized the background of the Scout being cited and noted his public-service work.
The council’s resolution on Fowler said that his Scout work included the attainment of 25 merit badges. Fowler’s Eagle Scout project involved restoration work on a historic railroad building in Lake Perris.
In praising Schoenwald, council members pointed out that he had earned 36 merit badges and had worked to improve Rancho Los Alamitos as his Eagle Scout project.
The resolution honoring Muse said he had earned 32 merit badges and that his Eagle Scout project involved painting the bingo hall for the Cypress High School Band and Athletic Boosters. Council members said they were “very proud†to have the three young men as residents of the city.
