Book Sale Scheduled by Friends of Library
A fall book sale by Friends of the Anaheim Public Library will be held Oct. 4 and 5 at the Central Library, 500 W. Broadway.
The sale will include a variety of books, including recent acquisitions of journals and textbooks related to the medical field.
Donated books are being accepted for the sale and may be dropped off near the library entrance.
Proceeds from the book sale and membership fees will be used to support library functions. The Friends recently approved providing seed money to start a compact disc lending program.
The group’s annual membership dues are $3 for individuals and $5 for a family.
Hours of the book sale will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Oct. 4 for Friends members, and 9:30 a.m. to noon Oct. 5 for the public.
