With positions open on three of Simi Valley’s four neighborhood council executive boards, city officials are looking for volunteers to fill the posts.
The executive board of each council meets monthly to discuss issues in its neighborhood, including development projects, traffic problems and safety issues.
Board members must be at least 18 years old and live in the city. Those interested must apply before 5 p.m. Sept. 30. The Simi Valley City Council will appoint 12 people to serve on the council boards for an eight-month term that starts Nov. 1.
