‘Ivanhoe’ Becomes Television Miniseries

“Ivanhoe,” Sir Walter Scott’s classic story about the Crusades, is being produced in Great Britain as a six-hour miniseries that will be seen there on the BBC and in the United States on A&E; in 1997.

Steven Waddington has been cast in the title role. Others in the cast include Christopher Lee, Aden Gillett, Victoria Smurfit, Susan Lynch and Ciaran Hinds.
