. . . The Angels are 18-36 on the road this season and now have been swept in a three-game series three times, at Chicago (April 27-29), at Minnesota (June 3-5) and at Detroit. . . . Every Tiger starter had a hit Thursday, and second baseman Mark Lewis tied a career high with four hits and set a career high with four RBIs.
