Always an Olympian: Kirk Kilgour, NBC’s commentator during the Olympic wheelchair race competition, can speak from the heart about the racers and their quest for gold. . . . Kilgour, 47, of Van Nuys was on the U.S. Olympic Volleyball team, but broke his neck in 1976. Although now in a wheelchair, he has been a coach, actor, writer and broadcaster.
