Man Fatally Shot Over Parking Space
A quarrel over a parking space behind a Bell Gardens apartment building left a 32-year-old man dead Thursday night, a sheriff’s spokeswoman said.
Witnesses told deputies that Frank Cisneros of Bell Gardens was arguing with a man over a space in a community parking lot in the 6900 block of Ajax Avenue, Deputy Angie Prewett said.
The other man drove away after the dispute at 9 p.m., Prewett said, only to return half an hour later with several other men. When Cisneros refused to move his car, the man pulled out a handgun, shot him and sped off with the other men, she said.
Cisneros was taken to St. Francis Medical Center in Lynwood, where he was pronounced dead.
