City Class Helps Build Home Businesses

The city of Calabasas’ Community Services Department is offering to help people interested in starting their own home-based businesses.
A city-sponsored, one-day class will include tips on selecting and building the right business as well as advertising the venture and handling taxes, licenses and permits.
The class will take place from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Aug. 7 at Calabasas City Hall, 26135 Mureau Road.
The fee for the seminar is $39.
