Hambrecht & Quist Seeks to Raise $68.4 Million in IPO: The San Francisco-based securities firm plans to sell as many as 4 million shares at $15 to $17 in its initial public offering, valuing it as much as $375.7 million, according to a regulatory filing. The company plans to sell a stake of as much as 18.8% to raise the $68.4 million, leaving the company with 22.2 million shares outstanding after the sale. Hambrecht & Quist Inc. originally filed on June 20 to raise as much as $80 million. But the firm, which specializes in bringing technology companies public, postponed the sale on July 15.
