Training Offered for Museum Docents

Directors of the Stagecoach Inn Museum in Newbury Park are seeking volunteers to serve as docents at the historic outpost off Ventu Park Road.
A series of docent training sessions is scheduled at the museum over four Saturdays beginning this week from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Training will include learning about the history of the Conejo Valley and the three early cultures that inhabited the area. Optional tours of other local landmarks also will be offered.
When volunteers have completed their training, they will be invited to work as docents in the Stagecoach Inn Museum.
