Police Seek Driver Who Struck Man in Fountain Valley

FOUNTAIN VALLEY — Police are searching for the driver of a Honda sedan who struck and killed am Anaheim man who was changing his tire by the road Wednesday morning.
Officers responded to a call of an accident at Euclid Street south of Edinger Avenue about 10:40 a.m. Wednesday and found 37-year-old Limneo Sanchez lying unconscious next to his car. He was taken to Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Medical Center where he died a short time later, police said.
Police said Sanchez had been changing a left front tire when he was struck by a car going north on Euclid Street. The driver, a female Asian adult, was seen stopping momentarily before fleeing east on Bellflower Street into a residential tract, police said.
Her car is described as a later-model gray Honda, four-door sedan. Anyone with information on the accident is asked to call the Fountain Valley Police Department Traffic Bureau at (714) 965-4484 or (714) 965-4481.
