. . . Protesters demonstrated against U.S. aid to Nicaraguan rebels at the Fashion Island office of Rep. Robert Badham.
Badham had voted two days earlier to send $100 million in military aid to the contras. The protesters read statements for three hours. Said a Badham representative: “We had to close the office.â€
