The man, whose name was not available, was burned on his face, hands and wrists and sustained possible upper respiratory injuries, fire officials said. He remained in stable condition at Martin Luther Hospital in Anaheim.
Forty firefighters and 15 engines responded to the blaze at 5531 Selkirk Drive, where flames caused damage estimated at $225,000 to the home’s second floor, attic and three-car garage.
