An earthquake rocked parts of southeastern Indonesia, damaging some buildings and frightening residents. There were no immediate reports of casualties from the magnitude-7.5 quake, centered in the Flores Sea about 100 miles northwest of Flores Island, according to the Meteorology and Geophysics Agency. The temblor jolted Kupang, on the western half of the island of Timor, for about five minutes, the official Antara news agency said.
