CSUN Names a New Facilities Director
Hildo Hernandez has been named the new director of facilities plant management at Cal State Northridge.
Hernandez, formerly general manager of facilities operations for Los Angeles County, will assume his duties on the 350-acre campus Monday.
CSUN officials said Hernandez’s leadership in recovery efforts for the county following the Northridge earthquake will be helpful to the university in its own post-earthquake operations.
A Long Beach resident, Hernandez has a bachelor’s degree in parks and natural resources management from Cal State Sacramento. Prior to coming to Los Angeles County, he worked with the Department of General Services in San Diego County.
