* Television: Westinghouse Electric Corp. is in discussions to acquire all or part of the 24-hour Spanish-language news channel TeleNoticias, said Reuters Holdings and Antena 3 of Spain, shareholders in the channel. The purchase would give Westinghouse a new outlet for its CBS network, which has lagged behind its competitors in taking advantage of the demand for news and programming overseas. TeleNoticias was started 1 1/2 years ago as a news channel for U.S. and Latin American viewers and now reaches 14 million households in Latin America; on the Miami-based Telemundo network, it reaches more than 6 million Latino households. A spokesman for Westinghouse declined to comment.
