Skateboarder Falls, Hit by Truck’s Wheel
A skateboarder hanging onto the back of a moving truck lost his balance and suffered serious injuries Tuesday, police said.
The 17-year-old boy was skateboarding at Bushard Street and Hamilton Avenue about 5 p.m. when he fell and was struck by the right rear wheel of the truck, investigators said.
The teenager was taken to Western Medical Center-Santa Ana, where he was reported in stable condition Tuesday night.
