Two teenage girls robbed a Camarillo pizza parlor at gunpoint Wednesday, fleeing with an unknown amount of cash, authorities said.
The pair, estimated to be about 17 years old, entered Little Caesar’s Pizza at 2104 E. Ponderosa Drive about 1:25 p.m. and faced the street until approached by the assistant manager. They then pointed a gun at him and demanded money.
After receiving money from a cash register, the teens fled east on foot on Ponderosa Drive, said Ventura County Sheriff’s Deputy Steve Arthur.
No one was hurt in the robbery.
The stickup by teenage girls, who acted in a casual manner throughout the robbery, was unusual, Arthur said.
The gun-toting teen, described as a pale-complexioned white girl with braces on her teeth and short jet-black dyed hair just above her shoulders, was about 5 feet, 7 inches tall, and weighed about 120 pounds. She wore a lime-green sweater and had dark sunglasses.
The other teen was described as a white girl with long, straight blond hair, also about 5-foot-7. She weighed about 125 pounds and wore a royal blue T-shirt.
Anyone with information about the crime or suspects is asked to call Ventura County Crime Stoppers at 987-TALK. A reward of up to $1,000 is offered for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspects. All callers remain anonymous and are given a number for identification.
