Amplicon Inc.: The Santa Ana lessor of high-technology capital assets reported that net income for its fiscal third quarter increased 14%, to $3.3 million, or 57 cents a share, from $2.9 million, or 50 cents a share, for the like period last year. Revenue for the quarter ended March 31 was up 25%, to $66.8 million, from $53.5 million. For the nine-month period, net income totaled $9.2 million, or $1.57 a share, 8% higher than the $8.5 million, or $1.44 a share, for the corresponding three quarters a year earlier. Revenue advanced 26%, to $188.9 million, from $149.9 million.
