Jay Jacobs has been named sales manager of BankAmerica Mortgage’s new Ventura County Residential Loan Center at 801 S. Victoria Ave., Suite 106, Ventura. The center works with real estate sales professionals in Ventura County to help provide home financing for their clients.
Jacobs has been a top sales producer at BankAmerica Mortgage since 1992.
* Jo Ann Poole, an agent with Century 21 LaCarre in Simi Valley, has been recognized by the Century 21 Coastal, Island Valley region as one of the top 21 sales associates among 2,500 agents in 1995.
Poole is the first Simi Valley Century 21 agent to receive the award.
* Guy Cole, member of a Santa Paula ranching family, has been named to the Industry Affairs Committee of the California Avocado Commission. He fills a vacancy created by the elevation of Mark Borchard of Oxnard to full membership on the commission board.
Cole serves as an alternate cooperative grower to Borchard in District 4, which includes the avocado-growing areas of Ventura County. Cooperative growers are those who own a share of their packinghouse.
* Scott Sledge of Ventura has joined Kinko’s DataProse as a marketing consultant to assist nonprofit organizations in developing targeted, personalized direct-mail fund-raising campaigns.
Sledge will concentrate on assisting hospitals, universities and other nonprofits in Los Angeles, Orange and San Diego counties.
