Conference to Offer Advice on Exporting

Local business owners interested in selling their wares abroad can attend a conference on the basics of exporting.
The daylong conference, sponsored by Oxnard College’s Center for International Trade Development, will be held April 18 at the Mandalay Beach Resort in Oxnard.
Speakers will include international trade experts from the U.S. and Belgium and exporters ready to discuss their experiences. The conference also will feature several hourlong classes on such topics as tax breaks for exporters and the legal aspects of international trade.
The registration fee is $59 before Wednesday, $79 after. For more information, contact the trade development center at 644-9981.
