For a book about the role of humor among the disabled, chronically ill and terminally ill, I would appreciate personal anecdotes and relevant research.

Tentatively titled “Funny as a Crutch,� the book will be an intellectual sequel to my 1991 book, “Laughter in Hell� (Jason Aronson), which dealt with the prominence of humor among the victims of the Third Reich.
