Police Investigate Shooting That Injures 5 Near Bar
PORT HUENEME — Port Hueneme and Oxnard police Sunday night were investigating an apparent shooting on Pleasant Valley Road that injured five people.
The shooting took place around 9:05 p.m. near the Top Deck bar. Police and emergency crews from the Ventura County Fire Department, responding to a report of a gunshot victim, found one injured person near the bar and three others on nearby San Pedro Street, according to the Fire Department. The fifth victim was found during a search of the area.
The identities of the victims, and their conditions, were not available Sunday night.
