Litton Wins $30.6-Million German Radar Contract

Litton Industries Inc. has been awarded a $30.6-million contract to upgrade radar systems on German air transport and fighter aircraft.
The Woodland Hills-based defense contractor is a major supplier of aircraft and marine radar systems and other electronic devices for the U.S. military and international customers.
Deliveries on the latest German radar order will begin in May 1997 and will continue through January 1998.
The devices will be produced at Litton’s Applied Technology site in Grants Pass, Ore.
