Conejo Valley Days Parade Entries Sought
It’s almost time to pull on the old cowboy boots and dust off the ten-gallon hat: Conejo Valley Days is just around the corner.
And organizers of this year’s Conejo Valley Days Parade are looking for clowns, bands, drill teams, dancers, cars, floats and other entries for the April 27 procession.
Those interested in taking part in the Conejo Valley’s western festival parade must submit applications by March 29. The entry fee is $10 for individual private groups and $60 for commercially advertised entries.
Judges will hand out awards to the best entries in the following categories: bands, drill teams, majorettes, drum majors, flag groups, color guards, floats, clowns, youth groups, antique automobiles, classic cars, and about 20 equestrian categories.
The parade is administered by the Thousand Oaks Kiwanis. For more information, call 379-6879.
