PREP GIRLS’ BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS

Inglewood Morningside 63, Ojai Nordhoff 28--Top-seeded Morningside (25-3) used quickness, rebounding and pressure defense to overwhelm the second-seeded Rangers (20-9) in the Southern Section Division III-A final at the Pyramid.

Senior forward Antoinette Thompson had 15 points and nine rebounds to lead Morningside. Chanel Neal added 11 points. Morningside forced 24 turnovers and held Nordhoff to 15% shooting from the field.
