A man is being sought for the armed robbery early Friday at a gas station in Simi Valley, police said.
A white male, about 45 years old, walked into a gas station at the corner of 5th Street and Los Angeles Avenue about 2:45 a.m., police said. After taking a soda from the refrigerator, he walked to the checkout counter and pulled out a small-caliber, semiautomatic pistol, police said.
The robber told the clerk to empty all the cash in the register into a paper bag. After the clerk complied, and the man left on foot with $45, police said.
Police have no suspects.
