Name-brand soap opera stars from both coasts will put on an evening of comedy, song and dance at the Comedy Store tonight to benefit the Actors’ Fund of America’s AIDS Initiative. Among many participating: Susan Lucci, Robin Strasser and Stuart Damon. Tickets are $55. . . . A Santa Monica company, Calliope Media, won the top honor for a software CD-ROM title, “ScruTiny in the Great Round,” at the annual international Publishing and New Media Market Conference in Cannes on Sunday. The interactive artwork examines symbolic cycles of life. . . . Larry Hagman and Patrick Duffy have signed to re-create their roles as the feuding Ewing brothers, J.R. and Bobby, in a TV movie based on CBS’ 1980s hit “Dallas.” Also confirmed for the reunion film is Ken Kercheval, who played Hagman’s arch-nemesis Cliff Barnes. CBS says other former cast members may join the project before filming begins in Dallas next month. . . . Stephanie Mills and Teddy Pendergrass will star in Vinnette Carroll’s “Your Arms Too Short to Box With God” at the Wiltern Theatre, March 6-10. There will be only seven performances of the gospel celebration based on the Book of St. Matthew. Tickets are $22-$35. . . . Barbara Walters will get the excellence in media award from the Gay & Lesbian Alliance on March 7 in New York for her commitment to covering gay and lesbian issues.
