In other women’s games:
Irvine Valley 84, Rancho Santiago 38--Karman Cheng scored 20 points and teammate Juliana Castro had 16 to lead Irvine Valley (19-7, 5-5). Heather Robinson scored 10 points and had 11 rebounds for the Lasers.
Riverside 82, Cypress 51--Alicia Rubio scored 29 points to lead Riverside (21-8, 6-4). Jennifer Conley scored 13 points and had 14 rebounds for the Tigers.
Holly Pawlowski scored 10 points for Cypress (6-19, 1-9).
Saddleback 55, Fullerton 48--Cha-Ron Walker had 21 points and 18 rebounds and Maureen Skehan had 16 points and seven rebounds for unbeaten Saddleback (23-0, 10-0).
Saddleback has a three-game lead with four left and can clinch the title Wednesday with a victory over second-place Orange Coast.
Fullerton made only 16 of 66 field goals.
In Orange Empire Conference men’s games:
Orange Coast 87, Golden West 61--The five starters for visiting Orange Coast (14-13, 5-5) combined to score 72 points, led by Matt Ambrose’s 20. Duane Curtis added 17 for OCC. Rod Scheuerman had 18 for Golden West (13-17, 3-7), which is down to six players because of injuries.
Orange Coast is tied for third with Rancho Santiago.
Irvine Valley 98, Rancho Santiago 82--Brandon Hearvey had 22 and J.C. Timmons 21 for host Irvine Valley (13-14, 4-6), which outscored Rancho Santiago (17-10, 5-5) by 10 in the second half.
Saddleback 97, Fullerton 64--Anthony Carter scored 21 points to help Saddleback (22-3, 10-0) remain alone in first place. Ty Berry had 26 points for Fullerton (7-19, 0-10).
Riverside 85, Cypress 71--Paul Culbertson had 25 Ed Posey had 22 points and 11 rebounds for Riverside (26-4, 9-1). Jason Krauss scored 26 for Cypress (12-15, 4-6).
