Schools Offer Tours for Open Enrollment
Parents of Moorpark students can visit schools throughout this month to determine which campus is best for their children, school district officials said.
The district will conduct daytime tours and provide information during evening sessions at the schools on philosophy and programs available.
The district’s open enrollment policy allows students to apply to enroll at any school within the district. Applications may be picked up at the district office at 30 Flory Ave. Applications are due by March 1 and parents will be notified by June 7.
Students with siblings already in a school get preferential consideration if too many students apply to a single campus.
Children wanting to attend school in their usual attendance areas do not have to apply.
For more information and specific schedules, call the district office at 378-6300.
