Recording Executive Found Shot to Death
A record production company executive from Thousand Oaks was found shot to death Tuesday in a Hollywood parking structure, police said.
Barry Skolnick, 30, general manager of Hollywood Recording Services, was pronounced dead at the scene about 8 a.m.
He died of a single gunshot to the chest, police said. His body was found on the second level of a parking structure at 6565 Sunset Blvd.
“We’re just at the initial stage of the investigation and haven’t established any motive yet,†said Lt. Al Moen of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Robbery-Homicide Division.
