Walk-a-Thon to Aid Chabad of Conejo
A walk-a-thon to raise money for Oak Park’s Chabad of Conejo youth programs is planned for Feb. 4.
Funds will be used to support the Tzivos Hashem youth club and the Kesher teen group.
“We’ve instituted teen and youth outreach programs to make Judaism . . . and the beauty of their heritage alive to them,” said Rabbi Yisroel Levine, Chabad of Conejo’s director of development.
The 10-kilometer walk-a-thon will begin at noon at the corner of Lindero Canyon and Lakeview Canyon roads in Westlake Village.
All participants will receive a T-shirt and water bottle. Prizes will be given to those who raise the most money.
To obtain sponsor sheets and to register for the walk-a-thon, call Chabad of Conejo at (818) 991-0991.
