The Community Services Department is continuing its introductory skiing and snowboarding classes through March, officials recently announced.
The beginning courses include instruction on preparation, warm-up exercises, proper clothing, mountain driving tips and two half-day skiing or snowboarding lessons at Snow Summit and Snow Valley.
The class fee is $23 plus a $79 material fee that includes equipment rental, lift ticket and professional instruction. Each student will receive discounts on future lift tickets and equipment.
