Pierce, CSUN Provide Free Tax Assistance
Two area colleges will provide free tax assistance this filing season to families and individuals who earned less than $40,000 in 1995.
Pierce College will offer assistance 9 to 11:30 a.m. Saturdays Feb. 10 to April 13 in Room 3217 of the Business Administration Building on the Woodland Hills campus, 6201 Winnetka Ave. Assistance also will be provided 6 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesdays Feb. 14 to April 10.
The Pierce program is a cooperative effort with the Internal Revenue Service and L.A. accounting firms. For information, call (818) 347-0551.
Cal State Northridge will offer tax preparation assistance 5 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays Feb. 7 to April 10 in the Business Building. The school is at 18111 Nordhoff St.
