The Silencing of Big Bands
A way of life is disappearing at radio station KGRB-AM (900). For the past 23 years I’ve been listening to the big bands, musical heroes of my youth. Now Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller, etc., have all been replaced with foreign-language programming. They have stolen my youth.
