Century 59, Kennedy 57--Century’s Chris Lopez rebounded a missed shot then made a 15-footer at the buzzer for the game-winner. Terrail Zoller led the Centurions (11-9, 3-2) with 18 points and Lopez had 14 points and nine rebounds. David Hinojos scored 17 for Kennedy (6-15, 2-3).

El Dorado 36, Loara 34--Mike Gartner made two free throws with 0.6 seconds remaining to provide the margin of victory for visiting El Dorado (12-9, 3-2). El Dorado’s Kevin Sweet made a three-pointer with 50 seconds remaining to tie the score, 34-34, setting up Gartner’s game-winning free throws.

In the Garden Grove League:

Garden Grove 72, Bolsa Grande 60--Frank Alvarez scored 10 of his game-high 21 points in the first quarter when Garden Grove (12-10, 7-1) collected seven offensive rebounds and outscored host Bolsa Grande, 25-11. Crispin Chavez scored 18 points and Vinh Tran added 15 for Bolsa Grande (8-13, 3-5).

La Quinta 57, Los Amigos 52--Fang Li and Scott Ogilvie each scored 17 points to lead La Quinta (7-12, 2-5), which led by six at the half. Gary Burns scored 10 points for Los Amigos (11-11, 3-5).

Rancho Alamitos 62, Pacifica 53--Paul Lira scored 24 points for host Rancho Alamitos (8-14, 5-3), which led after the first quarter, 22-7. Ryan Caraveo scored 15 points for Pacifica (8-14, 5-3).

In the Orange League:

Brea Olinda 74, Western 45--Eric Repp had 17 points and Sean Wink had 16 for host Brea (19-2, 5-0), which led after three quarters, 59-28.

Magnolia 67, Savanna 56--Ahmad Shrudim scored 16 points and Vathana Singbandith had 13 for Magnolia (10-11, 3-2), which made 21 of 28 free throws. Brandon Warden and Monroe Moore each scored 16 points for Savanna (3-17, 0-5).

Valencia 56, Anaheim 40--Dave Dembowski scored 14 points for visiting Valencia (12-8, 4-1), which led after three quarters, 41-24.

In the Pacific Coast League:

Estancia 76, University 57--Chris Candlish had 24 points and 10 rebounds, Dane Plock had 16 points and eight assists and sophomore Sam Nelson had 19 points for host Estancia (18-4, 5-1), which broke open a five-point game by outscoring University, 26-12, in the fourth quarter.

Nathan Scoggin scored 14 points for University (8-13, 1-5).

In the Sea View League:

Irvine 60, El Toro 58--Brian Krill made two free throws with one second remaining to lift Irvine at home. Amir Rahimi scored 19 points to lead the Vaqueros (10-12, 4-2). Travis Senik had 21 points for El Toro (11-11, 2-4).

Santa Margarita 72, Corona del Mar 45--Allen Krist scored 21 of his 22 points in the first half for eighth-ranked Santa Margarita (15-5, 5-1). Dennis Keane scored 17 points for the Eagles, who led, 43-16, at halftime. Adam Klinke scored 14 points for Corona del Mar (9-12, 2-4).

Woodbridge 57, Newport Harbor 54--The third-ranked Warriors (18-5, 5-1) struggled against Newport Harbor (5-17, 0-6) and trailed, 28-22, at halftime. Woodbridge used scoring runs of 11-0 and 9-0 to take a 48-41 lead after three quarters. Woodbridge sealed the victory by outscoring the Sailors, 5-2, in the last two minutes.

Chris Burgess had 20 points and 11 rebounds for Woodbridge.
