Author to Speak on Kids’ Reading Skills
Jim Trelease, author of “The Read-Aloud Handbook,” will speak next week in Seal Beach.
The free public presentation Thursday at the McGaugh Elementary School auditorium, 1698 Bolsa Ave., will begin at 7 p.m. and will focus on how to promote a love of reading among young children.
The event is sponsored by the Parent-Teacher Assn. of Los Alamitos Unified School District.
